Flutter app development
Cross-platform iOS and Android apps from a single codebase, built to ship, not to demo.
I'm Rida Syed. I take mobile products from a rough idea to a live listing on the App Store and Google Play - cross-platform Flutter apps built on clean architecture, real REST API and Firebase integrations, AI features that actually ship, and interfaces that hold up under everyday use.
Most of the products I've worked on weren't UI-only handoffs. On apps like Math Solver AI, FP Investment and Marquee I built the Flutter frontend and the backend from scratch - data modelling, API layer, authentication, admin flows - then took them through store review and onto Google Play and the App Store.
That end-to-end exposure changes how I write Flutter. I structure codebases so a second developer can pick them up: clean architecture with clear separation of layers, predictable state management in Riverpod, Provider or BloC, and API integration that fails gracefully instead of silently. Screens are built responsive and pixel-accurate, with theming handled properly rather than hard-coded.
I've also shipped genuinely AI-driven features - scanning handwritten maths into step-by-step solutions, generating logos from user prompts - so wiring an AI provider into a real product isn't new territory. Whether you're validating an MVP or extending a cross-platform app that's already earning, I can join at either end.
I design the system before I build it: how the app is layered, how modules talk to each other, and how your database is structured around real read and write patterns. This is what decides whether version 2 is a new feature or a rewrite.
Before any code is written, I turn your idea into a build plan: what the app actually needs, which parts carry technical risk, what belongs in version 1, and what a realistic timeline looks like. Most projects that overrun do so because this step was skipped. You'll have scope, timeline and cost in writing before you commit.
Real AI in shipped apps, not demos - image-to-solution maths solving and prompt-based generation are already live. Built the way production requires: your API keys stay off the device, usage and cost are capped, and there's a fallback for when the AI provider goes down.
Signed builds, test tracks and staged rollouts set up so shipping an update is a repeatable process, not a manual scramble. Play Console and App Store Connect handled end to end, including privacy forms, permissions and getting rejected builds approved.
Startup time, laggy scrolling, memory and app size - measured with real profiling tools, then fixed. I also take over Flutter projects someone else started: updating outdated code and stabilising what's there without breaking the parts that work.
Engagements usually start in one of these places. Most grow into longer-term work once the first release is out.

Scoped to your actual requirements and budget, so founders get something testable in market fast.
Image and text AI wired into real products, solvers, generators, assistants, with sane fallbacks.
Authentication, Firestore, Cloud Functions, Storage, push notifications and analytics, configured properly.
REST, WebSocket and multipart integrations with third-party services, handled with real error states.
Pixel-accurate implementation of your design, responsive across screen sizes with proper theming.
Faster startup, smoother scrolling, fewer rebuilds and lighter memory use in apps that have grown heavy.
Store submission, review turnarounds, versioned releases and continued support after launch.

From idea to store, in seven clear stages.
Scope, timeline and cost agreed in writing.
Architecture, data model and integrations set.
Screens and flows locked before coding.
Incremental builds you can review weekly.
Real devices, networks and edge cases.
Play Store and App Store submission handled.
Updates, fixes and ongoing maintenance.
What matters once a project is underway.
Apps ship handling real edge cases, empty states and failed requests.
Regular updates and honest timelines, with no surprises mid project.
Most work is repeat work. I stay available for updates and maintenance.

Attention to detail and professionalism exceeded expectations. I only gave a vague concept and she delivered.
Understood my design needs perfectly. I will use her services again and recommend her for Flutter work.
Built a smooth, fast Flutter app for our business. Communication was easy and she delivered on time.
Cross-platform mobile apps in Flutter for iOS and Android, and web apps from the same codebase. Shipped work spans fintech, social, AI tools and consumer utilities, the common thread is production apps with real users, not prototypes.
Yes, and it's a large share of my work. Founders usually need a lean first version that proves the idea without over-building. I'll tell you honestly which features belong in v1 and which can wait.
Yes. We agree the smallest scope that still tests your core assumption, build that properly, and get it on the store. Because it's built on clean architecture from day one, the MVP becomes the foundation for v2 rather than something you throw away.
Yes. I've integrated AI into live products, image-to-solution maths solving and prompt-based logo generation among them. For an existing app I'll review the codebase first, then propose where the integration fits with the least disruption.
Yes. On several projects I built the backend as well as the app, Firebase Authentication, Firestore, Cloud Functions, Storage and push notifications, plus REST and WebSocket integrations. You don't need a separate backend developer for most projects of this size.
Yes, and it's included. Store assets, build configuration, signing, submission and responses to review feedback are all part of delivery. Apps I've built are currently live on both stores.
Yes, either ad hoc or on a monthly retainer. That covers SDK and OS updates, bug fixes, small feature additions and store compliance changes. Most clients keep some form of ongoing arrangement.
Send a short description of the app and any designs or references you have. I'll come back with questions, then a scope, timeline and fixed quote. Nothing is committed until you've seen all three in writing.
Tell me what you're building. I'll reply with a clear quote, usually within one working day.
